The HMS Victory was a 104-cannon liner of the Royal Navy that was laid down in 1759 and put into service in 1765. She was best known as Lord Nelson's flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. In 1922 she was transferred to a dry dock in Portsmouth and was preserved as a museum ship. Since October 2012 she has been the flagship of the First Sea Lord and thus the oldest naval ship in the world still in service.
