Descritption:	Revelle Ships/ Revell Modellbau

One of the most famous ships in maritime history is the H.M.S. Bounty, made famous by the daring mutiny on this sailing ship. In 1787 King George III commissioned Captain William Bligh to use the Bounty to bring bread cargo trees from Tahiti to the West Indies. Captain Bligh rules with an iron hand and repeatedly cuts the rations for the crew. On April 28, 1789, the famous mutiny took place, Bligh and 18 faithful were abandoned in a boat and returned to England after a long odyssey. The rest of the team decided to stay in the region and settled on the island of Pitcairn, far away from the shipping routes. In order not to be discovered, the Bounty was then burned by the former crew in 1790.
