The stand model is a replica of the Space Shuttle Atlantis, which was first launched by NASA on April 12, 1981. During its 30-year service, this shuttle conducted numerous historic missions such as the construction of the International Space Station. Atlantis' final mission took place on July 21, 2011. The entire shuttle fleet is now slated to be exhibited in US museums. The TAMIYA model kit version impresses with its high precision and attention to detail.
